Manufacturing plant for copper and aluminium products in Ukraine.
About us
Akvaton is a European manufacturer of copper and aluminium winding wire, operating since 1991. Stability, proven quality and an individual approach — we build our work so that the client gets not just wire, but a reliable solution for their production.
The factory is located in Rivne, western Ukraine, close to the Polish border. The company employs over 75 specialists and is equipped with modern machinery for drawing, enamelling and winding wire.
Our in-house laboratory performs incoming and outgoing quality control. Every batch is tested in accordance with IEC 60317 and IEC 60851 standards before shipment.

Competitive advantages
35+ years of manufacturing experience
A manufacturer of copper and aluminium wire since 1991. Stability, proven quality and an individual approach — we build our work so the client gets not just wire, but a reliable production solution.
Flexibility & speed
We fulfil orders from 100 kg in the required configuration: diameter, insulation type, length, marking and packaging.
For regular customers with recurring consumption of 5 tonnes or more, we guarantee the formation of enamelled wire stock; for smaller volumes, this option is considered individually.
This ensures production continuity and minimises the risk of supply delays.
Quality & documentation
Products carry EN, CE, ISO 9001 certifications. Quality control at every stage of production. Each batch is shipped with a full document set — test protocols and conformity certificates.
Service & partnership
Every client gets a dedicated technical manager — from the first enquiry to delivery. We work as long-term partners, not one-off suppliers.
European contract representative
EU sales are handled by Elktrim (Poland) — an EU legal entity with full contractual responsibility. For clients that means a local contact, European law and a short logistics arm.
Lower carbon footprint
Use of 100% recycled copper, partial solar-powered production and waste reduction help lower CO₂.
According to our calculations, the carbon footprint of AKVATON products for 2025 is approximately 1.37 t CO₂ per tonne of finished product (low carbon copper product).
A lower supplier carbon footprint means a stronger ESG position in your sales and tenders.
Development plans
-
New trademark Novaton
We are launching the Novaton trademark — all products for the Ukrainian and EU markets will be sold under it. AKVATON remains the manufacturer and quality guarantor.
-
Entering the EU market
Official trade representative of NOVATON trademark in the EU — Elktrim plant (Poland): local contact and short logistics distance. For regular partners, by agreement, it is possible to maintain a dedicated stock at the client's site, reducing dependency on lead times without tying up working capital.
-
New product: copper rectangular enamelled wire
We are launching production of copper rectangular enamelled wire. The rectangular cross-section provides denser winding and better heat dissipation — critical for power transformers, traction motors and renewable energy. Launched to the EU market via Elktrim (Poland).
-
Equipment modernisation
We are modernising production equipment to reduce energy consumption. Less energy per tonne — we cut the carbon footprint and strengthen our position as a responsible supplier amid growing environmental requirements.
-
Carbon footprint certification
According to our calculations, the carbon footprint of our products for 2025 is approximately 1.37 t CO₂ per tonne. We are working on its verification in accordance with European requirements. Verified data can be used in Scope 3 reporting and for CBAM compliance.
-
Trade-show participation
We attend industry trade shows and conferences in Ukraine and Europe — direct contact with manufacturers, distributors and potential partners.
